Bourbon Garlic Compound Butter
Ingredients:
1 stick softened unsalted Butter
2 tsp. Insane Steak Cracked Pepper Seasoning
2 Tbsp. Bourbon (come on, you already picked a choice cut of meat, don’t let it go to waste by using just any ‘ol bourbon)
1 Tbsp. Italian Parsley, minced
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients and mix
2. Place butter mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap and roll into a 6-inch log. Twist the ends of the
wrap to seal
3. Place in refrigerator until solid
4. When ready to serve the steaks, place a ½ inch butter on steak and allow to soften before
serving
Notes:
As for the grilling itself, resist the urge to move the steaks too soon after placing them on the grill. They will naturally release from the hot grate after a few minutes. To create crosshatch marks, rotate the steak one-fourth turn halfway through the grilling time on each side of the steak.
If flare-ups occur during cooking, move the steak to a cooler part of the grill temporarily. This will keep the meat from getting charred.
