Turn a bland bird into a Crazy Good Zesty Grilled Chicken
How many times has your family groaned, “Chicken? Again?” Well, we’ve got a recipe that will reignite their passion for poultry and make you the hero that saved dinnertime. This Crazy Good Zesty Grilled Chicken with Easy Vinaigrette recipe is quick, simple and, most importantly, packed with flavor.
Where Zesty Grilled Chicken Gets Its Flavor
What separates this chicken from the rest of the pack? A couple of things.
First, we’d like to introduce you to our Crazy Chick Lemon Garlic Seasoning.
This seasoning is a unique mix of sea salt, oregano, basil, thyme and garlic to bring out the best in any bird. We’ve all made BBQ chicken that just didn’t fly. But we guarantee the lemony zest of our Crazy Chick Lemon Garlic Seasoning will make your chicken the talk of any table.
Second is the super-easy-to-make Easy Vinaigrette. It’s a simple mix of olive oil, vinegar, mustard, lemon juice and parsley, but that added bit of flavor will pack a whole lot of punch. Mix it together while your chicken’s on the grill, then drizzle and serve. Bam.
Is It Done Yet?
Some grillers get a little nervous when it comes to cooking chicken. An undercooked bird can lead to a lot of problems. There’s one way to solve that issue, and that’s to invest in a digital thermometer.
There’s a digital thermometer for every budget, from a couple of bucks to almost $100. Cost doesn’t matter as long as you’re getting an accurate reading.
You’ll know the chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Using a thermometer can help you nail it every single time.
If your family loves this chicken, we recommend trying our Crazy Grilled Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce next. Its another great use for your Crazy Chick Lemon Garlic Seasoning, and perfect for a fall game day.
Ingredients
4 Each Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
2 Tablespoons Mayo
2 Tablespoons Twist’d Q™ Crazy Chick Lemon Garlic Seasoning
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon White Wine Vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
1.) Heat grill to medium heat.
2.) While grill is heating in a gallon zipper bag or mixing bowl, combine chicken breast, mayo, and Lemon Garlic Seasoning. The mayo is going to help the seasoning stick to the chicken, give it a beautiful golden color on the grill, help the chicken not stick to the grill, and help retain moisture. What a great product!
3.) Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, turning as needed, until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breasts reads a minimum temperature of 165°F. Remove chicken from the grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
4.) While chicken is resting, combine olive oil, vinegar, mustard, lemon juice, and parsley in a small mixing bowl with a whisk. This simple vinaigrette will take your chicken to the next level.
5.) Slice the chicken into ¼ inch slice and fan them out on whatever you are serving the chicken on. Then drizzle the vinaigrette over the top.
